Children's Books Wish List


The Light One Little Candle Foundation was initiated by Dr. Joelle Pauporte, a young working mom, doctor and breast cancer patient, who lost her fight with cancer in 2005.

She found so much comfort and joy in sharing the gift of reading with her young daughter, that she set up the 'One Little Candle Foundation', so that other families might find that loving, bonding connection.

I've created a wish list for books geared toward young people, whether they are the cancer patients, or children of a family that has been affected by cancer. If you know a family that would love to have books to read between themselves, or to learn about cancer and coping with cancer, check the list out for suggestions.

and...be sure to look for the 'available used books' too...save some money, or spend money on more books! :D
